Zhejiang Xin'an announces a rise in glyphosate price after the Spring Festival. The price of glyphosate technical is USD3263/t, up 0.9% compared with last month. And the price of glyphosate, isopropyl amine salt aqueous solution(62%) increases by 0.7% to USD2,186/t, while the price of glyphosate, isopropyl amine salt aqueous solution(42%) is still the same as before.
The main reasons for glyphosate price fluctuation are as follows: the price of pesticide intermediates goes up and labor force cost increases. Manufacturers have arranged the production plan. If they agree to take exceptional cases, they need overtime production. Therefore, it brings about tight supply situation. Moreover, it will be the golden season for glyphosate, the price of glyphosate is up habitually. In 2010, the price of glyphosate was running at low levels and glyphosate manufacturers were struggling to survive, so they take the advantage of this opportunity to raise glyphosate price.
According to the glyphosate raw material market, the prices of raw materials have few changed, which will not influence the actual glyphosate production. As a result, the real glyphosate market situation is reflected by current glyphosate price.
